Becca and Scott's Midsommar Garden Party Tiny Wedding in Birmingham, Alabama

As I arrived at the Clubhouse on Highland in Birmingham, Alabama, I could feel the excitement in the air. Today was the day that Becca and Scott would tie the knot, and I was honored to be the one capturing their special day.

As I approached the venue, I was struck by its art nouveau vibe. From the intricate details in the architecture to the lush, green surroundings, every inch of the space was thoughtfully curated.

As I entered the getting-ready room, I could feel the energy of the bridesmaids and Becca as they laughed and chatted away. The mismatched bridesmaids dresses added a touch of whimsy and personality to the bridal party, and I couldn't wait to capture it all through my lens.

Throughout the day, Becca and Scott gave me complete creative freedom to capture their love story. As I snapped shots of them stealing kisses and gazing into each other's eyes, I felt inspired by the raw emotion and intimacy that they shared with each other.

I also learned that Becca and Scott had their first date at Red Cat Coffee House, so they spent the morning of their wedding day at the same coffee house and we incorporated a few mementos from their mornings into their detail shots.

One of the most memorable moments from the shoot was when Becca and Scott incorporated crystals into their wedding day. Before their first look, they each took a moment to hold the crystal and set the intention for their day.

They approached their day with such intention. During their ceremony, they had each member of the wedding party hold their rings and make a wish for them before their ring exchange. It was a beautiful and unique touch that felt deeply personal to them.

But what stood out to me the most was how important it was to them to have LGBTQ+ friendly vendors. As an inclusive photographer, I was honored to be part of a community that celebrates love in all forms.

As I reflect on the day, I'm reminded of a magical garden party filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. And as a Birmingham photographer, I am proud to have captured the timeless elegance and luxury of this beautiful city.

It was an honor to be part of Becca and Scott's special day, and I know that the images we created together will be cherished for years to come.
