Embarking on a four-day photography retreat in Georgia, my dear friend Katie from Katie Jewell Co. and I immersed ourselves in intentional business growth amidst the serene wilderness. Nestled in a remote AirBNB airstream, surrounded by nature's beauty and greeted by curious deer each morning, our retreat became a haven for fostering our businesses, celebrating our successes, and embracing the ebs and flows of running our own businesses. Day 1: Setting the Foundation for Growth
Captivated by the charm of downtown Rome, we exchanged content and captured headshots for eachother, setting the tone for our retreat. As we settled into our cozy AirBNB airstream, we embarked on Session 1: Goals + Manifestation. We envisioned our dream lives, crafted short-term and long-term business goals, and expressed our expectations for this retreat. The day concluded with editing and sharing our busy day's content, surrounded by the Georgia forest.
Day 2: Unleashing Creativity and Building Passive Income
Immersed in Session 2, we explored the art of content creation, blogging, and social media strategies, diligently crafting content schedules for the upcoming months. In Session 3, we delved into the realm of passive income, brainstorming creative avenues to augment our businesses. Fuelled by our collective enthusiasm, we dedicated an editing hour to refine our captured moments. Session 4 then ignited discussions on marketing, networking, and organic approaches to amplify inquiries.
Day 3: Elevating Client Experience and Crafting Future Success
With a focus on enhancing client experiences, Session 6 empowered us to define and document our desired client journey—from the initial inquiry to the heartfelt delivery of photographs. Session 7 unfolded as a captivating exploration of destination weddings, enlightening us on effective marketing and fostering connections in desired locations. Additionally, Sessions 8 and 9 kindled our aspirations for team expansion, employee hiring, and budgeting, unveiling the blueprint for our prosperous futures. The day's content concluded with Session 10, where we unveiled our individual and joint visions for hosting events and workshops.
Day 4: Reflection and Renewed Inspiration
Our retreat concluded with a memorable morning capturing headshots and content at the breathtaking Berry College. Over a casual lunch, we reminisced about the retreat, sharing our personal highlights and reflections. We want to make any future retreats perfect for any attendees. Energized by the retreat's transformative impact, we returned home, inspired to edit and share the remarkable content from our final day.
