East-Nashville-Inspired, Vintage, 70's Elopement with Stranger Things Vibes

Happy PRIDE! 🏳️‍🌈🎉

Lesbian couple in powder blue suit and brown aviators and vintage 1970s dress cuddle in front of a 1972 Plymouth Scamp in Florence, Alabama.

When florist Taylor at Native Petals of Huntsville, Alabama showed up with these two beautiful floral columns at the Inclusive Vendor Fair, I knew we had to repurpose them! We met the next day with my friend Faye Holladay of Costume Cowboy and created this East-Nashville-inspired, vintage elopement in Florence, Alabama. We mixed a little bit of bright, punk vibes with the vintage whimsy of the 60s and 70s.

Kat and Faye are the peach, gold, pink, and turquoise tones complimented their vintage attire and the powder blue suit worn by Faye. Kat’s vintage dress was straight from a bohemian 70’s daydream. We started the day with a ceremony, a ride in a vintage 1972 Plymouth Scamp, then a trip to the Food World for Golden Flake chips and 19 Crimes wine.
