Krista + Christen's Birmingham Waterfall Engagement Session

Krista and Christen spend a lot of their time together finding new adventures. They absolutely love the outdoors, nature, and animals. I KNEW they would be down to hike to a waterfall just outside of Birmingham, Alabama with me for their engagement photos.

Their paths first crossed the last night of 2015 to welcome in 2016 on New Years Eve. They didn’t stay super connected after meeting that night, but fate pulled them together a few years later and they found the love of their life. Like so many of us, they love to spend time watching true crime and medical shows. Of course, we all need a break from those sometimes and they really love to snuggle up and relax to watch Friends.

Their energy together is sweet and intentional. They look out for each other closely and uplift each other. Watching them dance playfully and embrace each other next to one of Alabama’s beautiful waterfalls was absolutely ethereal. I am so happy these two women entrusted me to capture such a beautiful season for them.
