Blaine and Emma's Moody Boho Micro-Wedding in Wilson Park │ Downtown Florence, Alabama

I have had the privilege of watching Emma and Blaine’s relationship grow from the start. Blaine drummed in my husband’s rock band, West Means Home. Emma and Blaine met at a West Means Home show and bonded over music. I remember when Blaine started dating Emma and how excited he was to be with someone so freakin’ cool. I watched them progress from their first date to THEIR PROPOSAL (so thoughtful you need to check it out) and finally their marriage.

They opted for an intimate wedding at Wilson Park in downtown Florence, AL. Emma and her friends got ready at the Edison House near downtown. Blaine prepared for the day in our home in north Florence. Emma wore a Kenneth Winston dress from Florence’s Cherry Tree Lane and earrings from my dear friend Flatwoods Fawn. Local florist Flori by Susan Rowe crafted Emma’s beautiful bouquet.

Blaine and Emma saw each other first in North Florence. We played their song, Daylily by Movements, as Emma approached Blaine. He was BLOWN AWAY. He literally staggered. They shared their excitement for the nuptials to come and we talked about everything that had brought them to this point. IT WAS SO WARM AND FUZZY.

We headed to Wilson Park for their ceremony in front of the fountain where a tent was set up for their guests. They said their vows surrounded by the joy of their closest friends and family. After the “I do,” we walked to a restaurant downtown for a small party to celebrate the two love bugs. Emma kicked of her heels and opted for this dope pair of white, platform Doc Martens.
