maternity // 1.16.2018
Yesterday, I woke up to snowfall and a tag from a friend (thanks, Tera!) in Katie's Facebook post. Katie wanted to take maternity photos in the snow, but couldn't make it out to the countryside for her scheduled shoot with a different photographer. She needed a photographer close to downtown. Thankfully, I live in North Florence which is just a hop away. Katie and I braved the snowy, Alabama cold around noon while the snow was still falling. We walked down Mobile St and took a little time in the quiet corners of Downtown Florence. Wilson Park was a bit of a walk, so we hopped in Katie's minivan for a short drive/warm-up. The snow-covered, old Regions building made such a beautiful backdrop. We drove down to the University of North Alabama where we met a cute pup and some sweet students on campus that helped toss snow for one of our portraits. Who knew my snow day would turn into such a great, little adventure.
